Wow, he did a really good job.

In the third pic, did he but the t-top areas out or are they just like that on fourth gens and covered by the roof/headliner?

could we do that to a thirdgen? I have a hardtop car and i have a parts car with t-tops, so my dad said we could cut the roof off the parts car and my car, then weld the t-roof onto mine. But could i just do what this guy did? i had the headliner off my car once and noticed the middle sections are thin metal and theres still that thick bar in the middle, so would it work?

You cant do it on a thirdgen. On 4th gens if you take out the headliner its like they all used hard tops then just cut out the area for the t tops. Its different on 4th gens

Well actually, you could do it on a thirdgen, but it would be a lot more work. It would be better and cheaper to just buy a thirdgen with t-tops.
