man...

OBVIOUSLY you don't know what split rear bench seats are....

you know how the rear seat is one big piece that fold down when you need the extra space, well SPLIT BENCH seats are 2 pieces instead of 1 that way you can fodl the left OR right side.

here is a pic to clarify..

Do you already have split bench seats? Theres a bar that needs to be there for them to work otherwise its not going to work right or at all.

I was just looking at the technical articles to paste the address on the procedure to remove the seats... and found this, you should look through the technical articles next time

yeah ,

when i took out my seats to put my seat covers on, there is one bolt just beyond the rear 6x9 down where the arm rest part of the sides are (hard to explain without a pic) once those are off you fold the split seats down and you find two bars maybe inch, inch and a half in length that enter into the side of the seats, these bars are welded into the hump that is between the 2 seats..so your seats will be moving all around not a good thing trust me!!
thats why i am a little leary on changing my backs to the full back cuz i dont wanna fabricate too much to make it work, so to make it work id say keep it the way you have it now..may not look as cool but at least you wont have ALOT of probs when installing them..
