*** dammit guys

I open my driver side door when suddenly the pivot, arm and spring popped out! I found the spring and the arm, but the pivot is an x-file.

Im talking about the pivot, where the little arm connect to the door anchor, where the spring is loaded. Which hold the door open.

I tried GM dealer, they told me the part is 56 cents, but is discontinued. BUt i could buy the hole hinge assembly, for the mesely sum of 110 bucks!!!!

I dont think so!

ANy idea where to get this, i tried local junk yards but no thirdgens, lots of 5.0 thought

But my local contact at the GM dealership was able t get the rivets from california, 2.95$ each! Better the the 110$ the other dealer wanted.
