Engine: 305 0.30 over(310ci)'dyno'd @10:6.1 cr. , 462 heads,Ported. edelbrock eps manifold,2701 cam,1406 carb.Headman Headers.
Transmission: 5 Speed
Shift ****

I would like to change the original shifter **** on my 86 firebird 5 speed tranny..i haven't relly looked at it thoroughly but can anyone tell me how to remove it?
seems like it is molded in place....

my old 82's shift **** froze on to the handle so i got the "grip wrench" its a plastic handle with a rubber strap and it worked great. They have the craftsman brand at sears .. its quite useful
