I currently have a 82 z28 hood on my car right now. I like it because i Have not see many people with this hood around where i live. I have hear of Camaros with this hood and cross fire injection have the two fuctioning air scoop that open when you rev the engine. How could i make such a hood i thick it would look cool. thanks for the replies

 

Is yours the fiberglass hood? I guess, if you remove those two little black covers (there is a nut under the hood holding them on) and then maybe cut the fiberglass in the same rectangular shape, and then maybe make up a open air cleaner with some kind of foam box to enclose it from the rest of the engine bay, then you would have cold air coming in. But apart from that, unless you have a CFI engine you wont be able to use the air cleaner they have with the functional hood flaps.

I have the same fiberglass hood with a holley. And I think I am just going to go with a dual snorkel setup.
