4th gen seats (I know...same old same old...but)
I finally got my car running after 6 months of engine work and other fun stuff, and i am moving on to my interior. My seats are ok, but I really wanted to get some new ones....so I call up my local junkyard (well not really...its a place that gets stolen cars and lemons and parts them out..) and they have a set of leather front seats (dark grey-power) for only 150!!!!! I saw them and they are in perfect shape!!! I am going to pick them up today, but since I cant find the rear set, I was wondering what alternatives I have for seat covers in the back. Anybody ever use neoprene seat covers? what about just dying the old seats black or drk grey? How do you guys think it will look with the mixed matched seats???
Also I know the seat are direct bolt in, but how would I go about hooking up the power? do I run a direct lead, or what?? Thanks

I still havent hooked up my power, but you'd probobly need the factory harness to make it alot easier.
If they have the air too, you'll need to get from them (or by from GM) the part that connects the two seats, the compressor is in the passenger(?) side only and supplies both seats.
Def. get them, I mean if they are only $150 you could probobly take your rear seats and get them re-covered in a matching leather

Well what you could do is just put in your new seats, and then just search around for the back. Like a TA creations or some place like that. Rear seats shouldn't be that bad to find, just make do untill the mean time you know what I mean.
check out www.camaroz28.com fairly regularly and u should be ok, people are always taking out the rear so they can lose those extra 35 lbs.
