The roll-up cover for the back of my 87 TA has been broken since I got the car and recently I've started to try to fix it. First, it needed a new rod in the sewn sleeve. I got that done no problem, but haven't seen how that rod is supposed to be able to hook to the rear hatch. The holes in the sleeve are closer together than the two spots on the rear hatch for something to hook to. Does anybody have a picture of the part that hooks onto the hatch? I'm going to keep looking around to see if I can find anything, but haven't had much luck so far.

Thanks, Freeze. Guess you figured out what I'm talking about. Whatever clips or hooks the end of the shade to the hatch, I've got to remake.

Sorry, my computer busted. That's exactly what I was looking for! My first mistake was thinking the location of the screws would match the cutouts in the hatch. I didn't realize that there were studs spaced slightly farther apart. I'll see if I can come up with a way to duplicate the original setup. If not, I guess I'll try to buy just the handle from the dealer.
