how do I get the bulbs behind the speedo out.

how do I get the bulbs behind the speedo out.

dont know if I should have posted this in electrical but anyways, I need to replace a burnt light right behind my speedo gauge, but it doesnt un screw like the others do, how the heck do I get to the 194 bulbs behind the speedo???

Leave the gauges in. Take the whole cluster housing out (the white plastic piece). It's only held in by two 10mm nuts and the speedometer cable (once you remove the faceplate et al.)



Once you can see the backside of the housing, you'll see that the bulbs are actually 194s with an integrated plastic socket that is not removable. They have to be replaced either as a unit, or the empty sockets must be bought and regular 194s can plug into them.

See the little grey deals? They come out with a half-twist.
