wheel spacers strength?
wheel spacers strength?
I've got to use about an 1 1/2 inch or 2 inch spacer on my rear wheels. How strong are they? I'm putting 275/40/17 nitto drag radials on the car. It should run 12's or so.
Thanks,
Todd

I've heard of the bolts comming loose, but never of a wheel spacer breaking because of HP......
Remember that you have 10 lug nuts so they have a tendency to come loose easier.......if not checked before races and tightened to the correct strenght........

As long as you have the proper lugs and good billet spacers I don't see them breaking. I've not had a problem with mine in 3 years.

I heard somewhere that you are not supposed to run spacers on the drive wheels at the drag strip. Not sure if that is true or not.
