Is Height of 4th Gen power seat more than than of 3rd gen manual seat?
I ask this because I am 6'6", and fit fine now, but I know that in some cars, the power seats sit up quite a bit higher than the manual seats, and if there is more than an inch or two difference, I don't know if I'll be able to fit. Does anybody know? Also, should my car have a plug for power seats underneath the carpet somewhere?
Thanks,
Eric

I don't find my 4th gen power seats to be any higher than the 3rd gen's.... if they are it's minimal. I'm 6'4" and I don't have any comfort issues. There probably won't be a plug under your seat for the power motors tho.
http://www.tacreationsusa.com/ but they aren't cheap and they're in Florida so think about shipping.

When I put the power seat from my 83 T/A into my 87, I noticed that the seat is probably 1/4" higher than my manual one.

I just swapped 4th gen seats into my IROC...what I actually did was attached the original seat tracks w/power drivers seat to the 4th gen seats
and my head actually brushes the roof less now
only thing left to do is fab up a nice looking bracket for the seat switches
