There is one bolt holding it to the bumper that you get at from underneath.

There are two more inside your hatch. You have to take out the plastic interior panels, and that little carboard box in the 'compartment area' to get at them. its a pain. I just put mine on yesterday. I forgot what size they are, but I found it easiest to use crescent wrench b/c i didn't have any sockets deep enought to get at those stupid 'body washers' or whatever the **** they are.

Have you seen the little "gfx" on the 82-84 TA's?? Here's a pic, maybe it'll help.

There's a bolt (i found out the hard way) in it somehow. Anyone know how i can get to it?

*sorry bout the horrible pic*

I thought he was talking about the one on the other side of the wheel well.

I have a camaro, so I honestly couldn't tell you for sure. But, I know on my car there is a couple of bolts on the underside of the car that go through some brackets on the gfx piece.

Im pretty sure he was asking about the ones you were talking about!

i was just asking since the topic came up and im getting ready to convert my TA to the "newer" gfx.
I already broke a piece off the driver side, trying to pry it off!

I think im gonna have to tear my interior apart to get to that stupid bolt!

Which one are we talkin about, if we are talking about the ones that run under the doors, the trick I found was to take the door vents out(open the door and they are above the striker) and you can reach down that hole and get to the nut that needs to come off. Definitly use a socket wrench for this. If you are talking about the one that is on the back of the quarters atached to the rear bumpers, there are 2 screws into the wheel well, a small bolt securing the back to the rear bumper that you can see from the bottom, and the 2 bolts holding it to the car can be accessed by taking the spare tire out on the passenger side, and if you remove the lock box on the drivers side you can get to that.

This is how it is on my 92 RS, if you have a bird or an older Camaro it may be diff.
