Rust !!!

I own 2 firebirds ,one is a 1987 base firebird ,and one is a 1983 Trans Am , the 1987 has a rusted ,actually rotted out floor ,the whole floorpan on the drivers side needs to be replaced ,and the Trans Am has some rust on the drivers side inner wheel well ,was wondering if anyone would have an idea wich one would be easier to replace ,or cheaper through a body shop . I am only gonna keep one of theese cars.

If the T/A only has rust in the inner fender well, I would think that would be the easier fix (assuming it isn't rusted through). Replacing floorboards is a bit more involved, and I would avoid having to do this, especially since it's just a base Firebird. But perhaps i'm just biased towards '83 T/A's....

Rust !!!

How bad is it going to be to get the wheel well fixed if it is rusted through? My 84 fbird has a hole in the inside wheel well -- hole is right at the top of the curve, maybe a little bigger than a golf ball size circle?

Do I have to get the whole piece replaced? Can body shop "weld/patch" it?

Any advise appreciated... Don't want to sound totally stupid when I go to the bodyshop.

Thanks,
Judith
