I was at the one of my local junk yards yesturday looking for some parts for my 91 RS and ran across a GTA with the complete interior in it.

It has the grey leather seats and they are in perfect shape. The carpet and all of the interior panels look good to include the headliner. I asked the guy at the counter what he wanted for the headliner and he says, "we have a trans am?" I said "yeah" and he gives me a price of $15 if i take it out myself.

This got me to thinking...I ordinarily wouldn't mix T/A parts with my camaro but the thought of leather seats really puts a smile on my face.

What would these be worth? This is my first experience picking up parts at scrap yards. I thought I could walk in the door and make him an offer for the complete interior. Since he doesn't really know the car is there maybe he doesn't know the interior is leather...anyhow I don't want to offer him too much and screw myself.

Any ideas?

 

Thats an awesome find, i've been looking for a complete interior for thr past 3 years and havn't been able to find anything. I would pay $250-$350 depending on the overall shape of everything. Man NJ sux.

I know exactly where to get a complete interior. However I have yet to find one for a good or reasonable price.
