Modifying a camaro hood to fit a bird!

Does anyone know if it is possible to take a camaro hood and cut it to fit a firebird?
I know anything is possible but I mean with out alot of fiberglass/carbon fiber (I've done my own ) work.
Are they the same length?
I was thinking that you could just cut it back where the headlights are but I'm not sure about the hood length on the camaro.
Any input or "constructive criticism" is appreciated.

i beleive that the slope of the hoods is diffrent, so you would have to "bend" the hood.

ummm.. NO, You could probably get it to close, and all BUT the shape is wrong from the wheels forward... Sorry

So you would have a Hood that appeared to be open all the time. Great for RAM-AIR...

Why would you want to do that?

I'll agree with the others. I think the hood slope is different at the nose.

Well I wasn't too sure of that.
They offer alot of hoods for the camaro that they don't for the bird.
I doubt that I would even attempt it anyway.
If you look at one of the harwood cowl hoods it has the same lines as the camaro so I just wondered.

It would probably be easier to fabricate the Z28 hood vents onto a firebird hood, if that your purpose for asking.
