Just wanted to see if they work and line up ok since I know the T56 shifter sits back farther. Thanks everyone!

Yeah it doesn't even look like its 2" off (which in reality it is). Except for the switches (which still aren't done, slow me) the console def looks like it belongs there

Any further questions welcome
As you might be able to see, I still have to cut the front tabs out more, and obviously make a panel for the power window and mirror switches. Supreme Member

Jocww:
-It only bolts in by the rear 2 holes inside the compartment, and yes they line right up. The original console has 4 bolt holes. I don't have any problems with it being loose
-The actual installation took me MAYBE 10 minutes. About six minutes to take out the old console, 4 to put in the new one.
-What I've modified (or in the process of) are the cigarette ligthers and the hole for the switches.
-You can prolly hardwire the lighters (2 of them) into the existing lighter circuit, but I am trying to aquire the correct plugs for them to make taking the console (for whatever reason) out easier.
-The window and mirror switch plate is what is taking so long. I want to get it perfect
-As long as you get a console that's from 98+ I think you're fine. I would go by appearance actually just to be sure. If you find one that looks exactly like mine then you're good to go.
-As for the camaro thing, you're going to want to do a search, there's 3 or MORE topics on this already. The radio portion of your console will have to be cut into b/c it is ONE PIECE. The camaro aspect is definitely not my area of expertise for this install.
EDIT: Bad406Z: no prob!
