I scored a 4th gen center console today 30 bucks it has 4 cupholders on it. Well ive been looking at pics of people who have there and i have the lower part of the center console but not the part were the heater controls and stereo would go in. Is there a way i can get the center console in using my existing top part witht he heater controls and stereo or do i need another part?

 

yes you can. You'll need to cut your existing radio/hvac pod. Please use the "search" button. I know a few camaro have done this...but can't remember their names off the top of my head.

I can't find it either. Sorry man. I tried the search and could only come up with firebird results. I know it's been done. The people who did it had to cut their radio/hvac pod or get a firebird one (which doesn't look right). Sorry I couldn't help more than that...but I do remember their results looked quite nice. If you're set on doing the conversion...just jump right into the project. You'll do fine, just take your time.

I actualy sold the counsole last night i havent had a job in a month and have 6 dollars in my bank account so i really needed the money so i sold it which i hated to do. But i do have a set of firebird cupholders im going to put in that go on the sides of the doors.
