Cowl finally got here!
I come home today and UPS guy left a $20 on the night stand again and the cowl by the door, man life is good. I'm still debating whetaher I like it or not, it's hard to say until it's glassed onto the new hood and squirted, but here's a pic anyway, let me know what ya think. The guy I bought it from makes them himself and said he'd sell them all day for $75 plus shipping, 4" tall and I'm not a body man, but it doesn't appear that anything has to be "cut" like I've read in other posts, sits on the hood rather well. It's final resting place will be on a GTA hood with the intake up front and vents in the rear. Let me know.

it seems like the poor mans solution to a cowl hood!!
i like it
but if it were me i would of bought a complete cowl hood made of fiberglass, alittle less weight and easier..
i only say that because i dont have any tools to customize a cowl onto my existing hood..

I traded jobs with the guy who's doing the body work so the only out of pocket expense I had was the material for his job and 2 days labor. Cause I'm no body man-I hate mater of fact, that's why I jumped on this deal. All the stuff he's going to do for me would've easily cost $3-4K at a regular shop, The paint should definately be show quality when it's done, especially since he wants to put his name on the car.
