Please I Really need help

i have been wanting to know how to change the tunr signal part of the camaro tailight red for awhile, and no one has given me a straight answer, i need to know if i just spray the red right over the top of the stock taillights, OR if i have to take it apart and remove the yellow piece that makes it yellow and then spray it, so the question is, do i remove the yellow and then spray, or just spray right over the yellow???????

You can't remove the yellow.....

The ENTIRE plastic is dyed yellow........hence why you can't just remove all the color to get clear taillights.......

I "THINK" you just spray over it on the outside since the yellow can't be removed and if you spray on the inside it will still probally look yellow.....

my buddy did that same mod to his taillights, he just bought some transparent red paint from the local hobby store and sprayed it right over the yellow section, looked good to me, i wouldnt do it to mine but it worked
