port and polish or new heads

i recently priced a pair of edelbrock cylinder heads, and was wondering if a port and polish would accomplish similar results on my 89 gta 5.7l l98. i bought it in august and love the performance and crave more but am somewhat low on funds. it has a jet perf. chip and a k&n air filter with the tornado intake

I'd say for right now just get them ported and polished. Granted your not going to get the performance you might out of the edlebrocks but your going to save a hell of lot of money and get pretty close in perfomance. Now you can take the money you would have spent and invest it in other spots. Cam, intake, exhaust, etc.

Oh yeah, I hope your kidding about the tornado thing.

Have fun

What's up with that 'tornado' thing??? lol I read that and about fell over laughing!!!! I guess I shouldn't have, but the ads I've seen look rediculous.

Did you really see a performance or economical gain?

it is suppose to save gas and give alittle more performance their commercial is very convicing!

what type of gas mileage are you getting?

anyway just get the head ported and polished like the others stated!
