i have a dent in the passenger side front fender. near the nose. it didnt damage the paint, but i was just wondering if theres a way to get the dent out without going to a shop or damaging it myself?

You could do a search for paintless (not pain, paint) dent repair at http://www.eastwoodcompany.com and try their kit out...

i have a couple of dents/dings i would want to get out, but since its my daily driver i dont care because i know if i go through all the trouble to get them out someone will put another one or even more in it!!

It depends on the size of the dent. Ive done this before, if the dent is kind of large, on a fairly flat panel, spray the area with water, then get a bathroom plunger and stick it on the dented area. Pull back the plunger quickly, and the dent should pop out.

You guys are messing with fire using a plunger to remove a dent. The suction force put on the plunger when pulled back could easily dent the metal in an outward way. I do PDR and it sounds like both of these were just the panel being pushed in, so you got lucky. Dents don't usually "pop" out. The garbage they advertise on TV for pulling dents is a joke and won't work so don't waste your money on those items
