Removing ground effect from door??????????
Removing ground effect from door??????????
Could someone please let me know what the best method is for removing the bottom ground effect from a 1987 GTA door. I own a 1988 formula and I dont need or want the ground effect on the door. I don't want to hurt the door so I was wondering if someone knew what the best method is for removal. Thanks so much. Aaron

I am not sure if it is like a camaro, but mine had about four nuts to take off of studs on the backside. One on each end and 2 or 3 inside the door, behind the door panel. Again, im not sure if it is the same.

Yea, its what the other guy said. There are 2 easy to get to bolts on the outside of the door, and 3 studs that are inside the door.
You have to take the door panel off if it's still on, and I hope that the window isn't all the way down. Mine was and I couldn't reach the two front studs without breaking the window (I needed the ground FX piece, not the door)
