i am assuming it can be done since i see them for sale
the only thing ive seen is the 6 screws on top

i tried taking them off and pulling on it to see if it would come off

is there anything else there is holding it????

anybody got any pics???

There's more screws under the weatherstripping, I think 4 more, for a total of 10, but it's been a while since I changed mine out. After that, it just lifts off.

yes, Mathius is correct just 10 screws, and some sticky stuff under the bar, but it the comes off easily. i just did mine and here is what my bar looked like...
