Help, Replacing the nose and the rear bumper, how to?
Ok, i'm totally lost when it comes to this kind of work, but after two accidents, this is what needs to be done. Doing it myself would save me a couple hundred dollars in body work, as I would only have to have one dent repaired, and the parts painted.
Can anyone tell me how to take off that nose piece, and the rear fender. I'm guessing, take out the headlights, then just pull out ever bolt you can find that is attached to it? For the back, just unbolt everything? Also, how do I get that rear taillight cover off. Thanks for any help.

I don't know if you have a Camaro or a Firebird, but on my '83 T/A, there were 4 or 5 (I think) bolts under the hood between the headlights and then there are like 4 bolts on each side where the fender meets the nose. I had to crawl underneath the car to get to those. I've never taken off the rear bumper, so unfortunately I can't help you there.

It all depends... is it just the bumper covers that are damaged or are the bumpers itself bent?? If it is just the covers you are replacing, then it isn't all that hard to do. The rear bumper cover ,you will have to remove the taillights and take out the rear interior panels ( spare tire cover and the locked storage are cover.) There are 4 nuts on both sides that need to be reomve from inside the car in those two places mentioned. Other then that I think it is just the plastic pop in clips on the bottom that are left to deal with, and a couple of bolts on the top. Same goes for the front. There are 4 bolts on either side that bolt the cover to the fenders. I don't think you need to take out the head lights though. But again it is mainly the plastic pop in clips, and a couple of bolts. If I got anything wrong here someone will correct it, but I think you'll do just fine.
Hope this helps?
