Locking cover and back panel
I have the locking storage cover and i swapped my interior out so i had to swap the back piece. The back piece i have is from an 89 firebird , it has the four connections on the panel, the light and the big squage with bristles where the hatch locks in. It is not from a car with the locking cover , it dosent go back to enough to tell if its gonna fit becuase of some brakets welded to the back panel and i dont wanna break them off if it dont work. i think the car this came from might have had a power hatch..? if iget a panel from a car without the locking cover or power hatch will that work? Theres none in the junkyards ive been to thats why im asking
PS Yes i searched

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking--but the rear covers are different for cars that have the hatch motor--they're slightly bigger then cars w/o the motor--so you can't swap one from a car that didn't have the hatch motor to one that has it.

The previous owner cut the screws off so my whole panel lifts off... how can I get it to screw down again?
