what does this do?
beneath my rear view mirror is this thing that has 2 little bulbs and says distance-far-987654321,it looks like there is a hook up behind it but can't find the connector.What is this?

RPO DD8. I installed it on my car and love it! People can high beam me all they like, I don't notice a thing. If you need a hand with any wiring let me know.

i tried mine (it actually started working!.. the off/auto switch is sort of weird) and when lights hit it, it just started moving frantically (IE: MOVING UP, and moving and moving and moving.. it just would keep trying to move and not go any further)
it did this a bunch of times
really freaky because we didn't know where the sound was coming from..
