4th gen door panels will not mount to a 3rd gen door without extensive modification. The doors are a different shape and the panel is held to the door using a different mounting system.

So..... It's been done before. $20 is a damn good price for it.

Anyone truly wanting to do the mod should start with a door. Its a good price.. Its not an impossible mod either. I intend to do it, but with firebird doors.

Fourthgen door panels are a little larger than thier thirdgen counterparts, so yes they can be trimmed to size.

You're also going to run into problems with the front speaker pod hitting the dashboard when you close the door.

Definetly not a quick & easy swap like putting 4th gen seats into a 3rdgen is.

use the search feature and you'll find a few people that attempted the swap, and got so frustrated that they never completed it.
