uh... my car has small patches of rust on it. mostly on the underside and in the wheel wells. whats the best thing to do when this starts happening? every small spot of rust i have looks like nothing, but really its eaten clean through to the other side of the metal. i got one in the wheel well that is really bad, i spent an hour chipping it away with a screw driver and it was so freaking deep. what should i do about all this rust?

 

probably get all the rust areas out, use something called por-15 or some other kinda of rust protective and then weld in some new sheet metal patches.. just an idea..

 

Yes, get all the rust off before it spreads. Grind it blast it or better yet cut it off. Any of these methods will require some touch up to the paint but it really is the only thing you can do.

I wish we could live in a world without rust.
