Any ever swapped aftermarket gauges into a firebird?

I just got done putting in my dual apillar back in spring which now houses my phantom trannie temp and a/f ratio gauges. I've been doing some research about doing a whole new instrument cluster out of autometers. I've been finding it very depressing since companies make bezels for camaros but I haven't found a single one for a firebird. I'm guessing it's because the firebird cluster is longer (surrounds headlight switches too) and the bezel has a weird roll along it, not to mention the angles at the top to bolt it up to the dash pad. Just wondering if anyone has ever made a custom one for a firebird?

Yea i am in the process of making a custom dash out of the Digital dash out of my GTA. I have 2 5 1/4 inch gauges (tach and speedo) and have the smaller gauges for others ( 2 5/8inch-3 /??) inch . heres a pic of wht i got done so far....Andif you familiar with the digital dash i am putting a tv where the trip comupter and car sentry used to be...

First i got a piece of plywood wrapped it with 3m carbonfiber tape and then cut out holes for the gauges...

I will try to get some pics of the dash in the car here is a pic of it

....I forgot to mention that i had taken apart the broken digital dash so that i could mount the plastic piece to the original dash. This was really simple to do..took about 1-2hours to make...now i am waiting to get the tv and rest of the electroncs for the car

Cool keep us informed on this project! Well at least post so *I* can keep informed! I HATE the long streached out dash/guage assembly on the birds...Would love to make/find one like what the camaro's have.....
