Dying Steering wheel
I wanted to search, but its broke. I am getting a different steering wheel for the Camaro. It is a stock part from like an old Chevy of some sort. I don't like the small diameter of 90% of the aftermarket ones, and I don't like the price of the other 10%. Here is a picture of it. I want to dye it either black or grey. I know I could paint the button, but how can I dye the grip part? The only dye I have ever used is the Rit stuff from Wal-Mart.
Thanks,

Is the grip leather? if so then black leather shoe dye may be just what you need to fix this, it soaks in real good to dye through some of the way (won't flake off) but it dosen't like the non-porosity of most polymers so it wouldn't adhere to most plastic based materials (like vinyl)
