I think it would look best with some matching tan seats.
Personally I have the Neutral colored T/A seats, but they might be a little too light to match your interior.
Here are a couple of links for seats currently on ebay:
Beige/Tan '96 Camaro seats
Neutral '99 Camaro seats

I too would have to say tan. Black jsut wouldnt look right with everything else in your car. But if you wanted to go with an all black interior I thing that would look SWEET. But ya, tan.

I couldn't find the post through using the search but, there was a member that I believe (IIR the post C) had a TTA that put black leather 4th gen seats in the tan interior and it looks very nice. I voted for black. The TB in your avatar looks real familiar for some reason too..

I searched for awhile before posting so I could show you but came up with nothing. The best I can do is a crappy pic hack off your site. I realize this is more of a charcol grey clothe but, my 'black leather seat' filter is on the fritz

the 2 tone color sceam looks good as long as there is enough black to go with it, and we do with our black dash, counsle top and trim. i also think black or charcoal ( which is what i have) with a 4th gen charcol or black center counsel would look good also.
here is my interior with the charcoal seats and blue grey interior. looks better in person

Black Mats
I think that they would look good too if i put some black mats in instead of the tan.
DEADBIRD can you to what you did to the mats the same way you did to the seats so i can see what it looks like alltogether.
thanks

you know, instead of looking for near-perfect seats, why not look into finding stained/torn seats that you can get really cheap, then have them recovered to be a perfect match for your interior?
i have no idea what it would cost, but it looks like you'll pay 400-600 for nice ones. if you could pay 100 for crappy ones and get them recovered for 300-400, it'd be roughly the same cost.
if anyone finds out anything, please let me know. i'm looking at swapping in a 4th gen interior in a few months

I actually have some tan 4th gen leather seats I'd sell. In fact, if the tan GTA seats you have now are cloth AND in good shape, I might knock a good chunk off of the price with a trade.
I can get pics of the seats I have this week sometime. Actually have 2 sets...
1 set from a 95 Z tan in GC
1 set from a 96 Formula tan also in GC
I see these seats sell all the time for $500+
I want around $400 for the front and rear set, but again, might knock off a good bit for a trade.
Either way let me know
Email me at ctandc@comcast.net
Thanks

I vote black. With the right set of Firebird seats it would look killer!
