Installing Carpet/Sound Deadener

Installing Carpet/Sound Deadener
I'm about ready to install my new interior in my '83 T/A. I have quite a bit of sound deadener to install as well. I have two questions. One, what kind of adhesive should I use for the sound deadener? Two, do I use contact cement or any kind of adhesive when installing the carpeting?

Any suggestions are appreciated.
