GTA door panels, wtf?

It appears the armrest doesn't bolt to the stock location. So whats the deal? Drill out new holes and hope for the best?

My car is a formula, but I picked up some GTA (black) door panels.. ugg.

The doors are the same. The mounting brackets are the only difference. To do it right, you'll need the mounting brackets from a car with the GTA-style door panels.
