firebird popup lite problem

firebird popup lite problem
Hello everyone, one day my left popup headlight on my 99 bird
did not come up. I banged the area around the light a few times
and it poped up. This worked for a few times but now they dont
come up at all. Nothing/nada no motor noise or movement.
What could i do before springing for a new motor?
