rear hatch light wont turn off
You didn't just buy the car did you? It's not like a trunk light that goes out automatically when you close the hatch. There is a switch in there and you have to turn it off manually. Sorry if you already know this. If you tried to turn off the switch and it wouldn't go out, take the lightbulb out until you can get a new switch! Matt

Actually it does turn off automatically from either 89 or 90 through 91. The older ones had a manual switch. Newer ones were controlled by the striker-sensing switch on the hatch pull-down unit (that lil white wire with a small black connector on the end that no one can figure out what to connect to). I haven't investigated the switching mechanism of the 91 (second design through 92) but it too has no manual switch.
