Hey guys, this part was never on my car but I have seen it on other 92 Firebirds. It's black and metal and is held down by 3 bolts with washers on them. What is the purpose of this part? Anyone have a part #. The local GM dealership couldn't find it in their computer! Here is a link. The arrow points to where the black metal thing goes. It's pretty big and stretches across from basically headlight motor to headlight motor.

theres a vertical brace that bolts to that hole, and theres two holes on the bottom. The brace sits in front of the radiator, if you dont have it, get one from the boneyard.
