Q: 4th gen seats(wiring + air pump)
I just bought the seats off ebay. they are 95 T/A seats the two front seats are w/lumber and powered. Q1 is how do I wire them and Q2 is do they have the pumps in them. I had an 88 vette with the lumber and between the lower seat and the track was the pump. I'm guessing that the pump would be there as well. is that the case with the 95's? any info would be great....

Well, im not positive for 4th gen seats, but the power lumbar should be the same as my seats, which I pulled from an 80's Grand Am GT. There is actually only one air pump, under the drivers seat. You'll need to wire a positive and a ground to it. There are also 4 wires which come from the passenger seat, which go to the pump on the drivers side. This is so that the switch on either seat will activate the air pump. Then, you'll need to run an air line to the passenger seat. I just used vacuum hose.
BTW, the seats I got from the Grand Am are the same seats that came in GTA's. They're also the same as 4th gen T/A seats, except for the headrest.

The only difference with what he said, is the 4th gen seats (at least my old TA did) have the pump under the passanger side seat. It should of come out with the seat.
