Convertible Fender

Can someone please post a picture of this bracket that the convertible fenders have and where it's supposed to go to.

Also what part of the new fender will I have to cut to make this work?

Ok... Im going through this right now. First off, your going to need the bracked that is on the origonal fender. The bracket Im talking about is on the back of the fender behind the wheel. Its tac welded on, so your gonna have to get creative takin it off... A hammer, a flat head screwdriver or chisel, and a lot of cursing and swearing should get it off.

Now, on to the new fender. from the ground effect ridge in the fender, your going to need to cut off exactly 3 and 3/4" off of the bottom of the fender (remember, the part behind the wheel). This cut should be RIGHT ABOVE the stock bracket. If you look at the fender, youll know what Im talking about.

As soon as I get a good fender to use for mine, Im going to do a tech article on it. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

The LH is discontinued AFAIK, but the RH is still available from GM. RH Part no. 12331727

I know because I had to order one not too long ago.
I think it was $24 plus S/H.
