weak air flow on a/c, heat, etc.

as it says, i've got a weak airflow whenever the a/c, defrost, etc. is on, even on high. the fan seems to respond to the fan control switch, all speeds work, but air flow just ain't there - very weak. i don't hear any vacuum leaks, so where do i start? i've replaced the fan motor a couple of times over the years i've had the car (10), last one was changed probably in '98 or '99...

i was reading another post on this subject in another forum and it was mentioned about the relay... wonder if'n that could be it and/or have anything to do with it. i just don't see where a fan could wear out so soon. when i replaced my heater core a couple of months ago, i checked for blockage then, didn't see anything. or maybe one of those vacuum operated ports aren't opening...?

It's not the fan speed that's the problem. It's actually just because the HVAC systems in these cars suck.

Yeah, I recently replaced the AC blower in my car because the fan was so weak. It helped a little bit, but it blows no where near the CFM of newer cars. I can still barely feel it in my face if I have the vents positioned to blow at my face.

The A/C systems just suck.

never heard of any filter on these (or any other) car, but it was mentioned one other time about possible blockage from leaves, etc. when i changed my heater core i checked all up in that area for debris and what-not, but it was clear, so i'm thinking something isn't opening all the way or the blower just sucks on power
