Outer door window felt replacement.

Outer door window felt replacement.
I was looking at the outer window felt the other day and was wondering if anyone has replaced it with the window in? There are 2 bolts that are still behind the glass with the window down. Any advice on this?

I assume you have the door panel off. What I did was loosen the 2 bolts on the brackets that hold the window towards the outside of the door. Then you should be able to pull the glass back far enough to get them out.
