I need a new hood... like most of you already know.. but I just read a post where I learned that some camaro hoods were fiberglass... stock? anything like that on t/a? I know my '85 was metal the hard way heh... if I can get a fiberglass, stock one it'd be much better

 

early thirdgen z28's, cfi ones if im not mistaken got a fibreglass hood with funky opening vents in them.

 

what about trans ams? from 85 to 90.. any stock fiberglass hoods?

 

i belive they were all metal, but i could be wrong. Not to hip on 3rd gen firebird builds and quirks.

 

oh well... guess the notch back was a payback from the birds to the camaros weightwise...

 

anyone ever bought a t/a fiberhood that looks stock? if so, where did you get it and does it fit nicely?

 

from what I've heard, you're going to have to get a fiberglass firebood hood (they're sold at USBODY), and put the TA vents on. I'm considering doing this as well. There's already been a member to do it, and it looks nice.
