Slow windows???cures/remedies??

Slow windows???cures/remedies??

My windows are slow and since my car will be in the shop in 2 days I decided to have the guy whos fixing my car to take off the door panels and lube the window tracks??what kind of oil is best for this and where should be oiled to make em go up and down faster??

Greasing the tracks is a good start. I used Lithium (sp?) grease on mine. But I can tell you, they'll never operate fast. I've greased the tracks on my driver's side door as well as replacing the motor and switch - and they are still much slower than the windows on my F*rd.

Keeping the tracks lubed will help your motor last longer though.

BTW..if it's in a reputable shop,, they should know where to lube them.
