gfx help

I am putting gfx from an 88 TA on to my 88 Firebird. I have all of the pieces, except for the metal piece that goes underneath the rocker panel ground effect. I think that this piece is supposed to be welded in, but I need to know if there is any way that I can get another one, because the donor car already went to the shredder.

I believe you would have to find another doner car in a junk yard and drill out the spot welds that hold the metal rocker gfx support piece. Someone else once posted that you could then reattach the support using screws if you didn't have access to a welder.

Hope this helps
