Firebird dash pad in Camaro

Ok, I know a firebird dash pad will physically fit into a camaro, but don't the firebirds have detachable speaker plates? Do they speakers still line up the same in a camaro if I got one, and made some type of speaker cover?

Thanks,
Mathius

They are not exactly the same size and also, a 'bird does not have a notch for center vents.

I believe the firebird pad is 2" shallower.

You would have to swap consoles too, since the camaro usually hold the radio and the dash holds it on the firebirds.

That has nothing at all to do with the dash pad chief. The dash pad is the piece on top of the dash near your windshield.

LOL, I mis read that. I was talking about the entire dash. I had seen another post about swapping dashes and it must have still been on my mind.

Sorry...
