cowl screens inquiry
ok, on the 82 trans am the cowl screens at base of windshield are compelte trash busted up and missing parts, i removed whats left of them today to clean out the cowl and blast the car clean cuz been sitting for a few years not running, drivetrain is out as of the other day,
i need to know if new cowl screens pair is made for these and where at and how much and if not then whats a good way to make some good screens, pics would be great, would there be anything wrong with epoxying down screen over the cowl openings directly ? cant see with hood on right ?
thanks

Actually I found a cowl screen custom made in a junkyard. I got it for free cause they didn't want anything for it. If you want I can scan it in (no digital camera) for ya. Looks like someone get to a hardware store and found some type of wire mesh panelling with the tabs in the right spots and just cut it out to fit.
Opps misread It thought you were talking about cowl screen for teardrop hood...
Anyways I don't see why you can't epoxy them down. Might try checking ebay.

Fast, you should be able to just get one off any year camaro or bird at the junkyard. The GM # is 10053981 and they are $11.56 from GMPartsDirect.
