Basecoat/Clearcoat question
Ok I was doing a simple repair to my bumper, and I was applying new paint. Of course, I got a run in one spot on the basecoat. Here's my question:
Can I sand the run out after the basecoat dries (with like 1000 grit paper or finer) and then apply clearcoat, or should I sand the whole spot out and reapply the basecoat? Any ideas? any info appreciated. Thanks.

Nevermind I got it... for future reference for anybody here's what I did:
Let the run dry
Sand with #600 grit paper
clean
Re-apply basecoat
