Strut Tower Repairs

OK, I'm doing much research. My Camaro finally has a engine problem worthy of pulling the engine (bearing is messed up, happened last August, car has sat since then).

While pulling the engine, I'm thinking maybe I should do a full restore on this ride. I mean, it has little surface rust on the exterior, new (yes new) floor pans as of 3 years ago, interior is in pretty good shape and down the line....

My biggest problem that needs over come.... My stut towers have some fairly large holes. But there is still a lot of solid substance to them. I was wondering, has anyone had to respair there strut towers?
If so, how? Self made patches, aftermarket pressed replacement metal (that's how my floor pans were), clipping another Camaro??

If this problem can be overcome, I think my Camaro will go for the full restore (this is just the largest consideration).

I wish I had pics of what I'm describing, but the Camaro is currently not at my house (I have to tow it from my parents place where it's currently under car cover).

But if anyone has pics of there own repairs or input to give, I'm interested.

Thanks guys!!!

I'm having the same problem, my driver side strut tower has a few holes, I'm currently in the process of pulling the motor and my body shop guy and gonna have a look at it, to see what he can do.

I had holes also, but they were nothing that would take away from the structural integrity of them, so i just went with fiberglass, cant even tell I did anything.
