Seat Belt Trouble!

Seat Belt Trouble!
Ever since i've had my 1985 z28, my driver's side seat belt WILL NOT retract back into the hole. Can this be fixed, and if so, how? I cannot seem to find any way to get to the inside where the belt goes. Please reply!

Yes it can be fixed. Take off that plastic cover thing, and you'll see the retractor, with a little catch. Once inside, it'll be pretty obvious what has to happen.

just make sure u do NOT take off the white cap that says "do not remove" it says that for a reason, it will shoot a few peices out at your face, and the seat belt wont work anymore
