C5 or 4th gen TA seats????
C5 or 4th gen TA seats????
I have two questions.......
1st - ** does anyone remember the site that has all of the 4th gen seats for sale? ** I can't seem to find it, maybe its gone now. But they had seats from different year Firebirds and Trans Ams available and they had pictures of all of them.
I'm thinking of a pair of early 4th gen TA power seats. I want to get the leather ones in black with the inflatible side bolsters and manually adjustable front portion. I know they would bolt right up, and the wiring wouldn't kill me.
2nd - has anyone put C5 seats in a 3rd gen? I doubt the rails are interchangable. How hard are they to install? I like the C5 Sport Seats in my '00 and would love to have a pair for the RS if I could find them at a cheap enough price from a wrecked vette.
Thanks for the help!

I can see those 4th gen seats don't have the seat belt guides bolted on the headrests. Can we use ours? Will they just screw into the headrests or should we not bother with it? Just curious on this one. Thanks.

Cant tell you yet about the seatbelt guides. I am waiting for my seats to come from America to me here in Australia. I can hardly wait. All up including cost, taxes, and shipping the seats will cost me $1800 AUS. A little expensive but Recaros are more than that here and to me these being electric and with the lumbar supports, I think I made a better choice.
