Split rear seats

Will the split-folding rear seats fit in my 89 Bird? If so, how hard?

I don't see why not. They were an option that year with the upgraded interiors.

It is pretty straight forward, I WAS going to do this, But when I looked at it I would have had to WELD a tube on my driveshaft tunnel, so I didn't. I really did not see a huge benefit for it unless i wanted someone to ride in one seat and fold the other down, no one ever rides back there so I left mine as a single.

I wouldn't bother. I've had both and it's one of those it really doesn't matter options. IMO
