M'f'n mouse...
i've had my car parked in my yard for awhile since there's this huge dead tree over my garage. finally get it cut down, pop my hood to reconnect, the battery, and i see this....

bastich made a nice home over my valve cover. as you can see, it also chewed through a spark plug wire. makes me wish i had left my battery connected. i didn't notice it at first. started the car, and it started ticking very loud. it was grounding out on the brake master cylinder and sparking. lucky it didn't catch fire.
oh well...i guess this is a good excuse for new plugs, wires, cap, coil, and msd.

A friend of my wife's has a kid who brought home some mice from the pet store to feed his pet snake, one of 'em got loose ib the car and crawled under the dash, where it expired inside a vent somewhere. Now THAT my friend would truly suck.

The pack rats around here like to build nests in cars made from cactus, esp prickly pear. Not only do wires and vac hoses get chewed, but everything is covered in very small and fine cactus needles. Everytime I work I get a few stickers in my hands, so small you can't see them but they sure do hurt.
